Tuesday- Good Things, SSR, Hero in the Hallway video http://www.herointhehallway.com, dictionary definition of a hero- create a poster with a partner that shows your definition of a hero- words, pictures, etc.
Wednesday- ROL, Caught ‘Ya, hand back myths, revision sheet, students revise
Thursday- Good Things, SSR, Sentence Jeopardy
Friday- ROL, Caught Ya, Sentence Quiz

Homework:
Monday-Thursday- study sentences

Read 20 minutes every night- fill in reading log and get it signed- due Monday

Welcome Back! We (Mrs. Fuzak, Mrs. Malloch, and Ms. Naber) are excited for the new school year and to have you in our classes! Here's the place to find the weekly agenda and homework for seventh grade English.

Monday- Labor DayTuesday- Seating Charts, Expectations, Syllabus, Autograph Party, explain “I” poster (fill up the poster with a minimum of 25 words- nouns, verbs, etc.) **Bring a spiral bound notebook for English!!Wednesday- Read out loud (Crash), Library (get a 200-page book you have never read before), explain 40 book challenge, and work on “I” poster, student reading recordThursday- Share good things, silent reading, write six-word memoir and tweet (140 characters or less)Friday- Read out loud, start Word Nerd (Word Wall), Caught ‘Ya, intro. to Greek and Latin root words and make notecards


Homework-Tuesday- bring SSR book, get syllabus signed
